Brett Monroe Garner is a conservation photographer, marine biologist, and naturalist. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in marine biology and oceanography, and a master’s degree from Scripps Institution of Oceanography in marine biodiversity and conservation.

Brett is an avid traveler and has worked on all seven continents including both polar regions. His work focuses on the interactions between people and the environment. He likes telling the types of stories that encourage people to experience, enjoy, and care for our natural world.
